100 Days of Holding the Trump Administration Accountable

This week marked 100 days since President Donald Trump assumed office for his second term. It was a period characterized by countless overreaching executive orders, attacks on our electoral system and a disregard for ethics and the rule of law, all which paint a picture of a president attempting to consolidate power at all costs — and Americans are paying the price.

While Trump is busy pursuing methods to dismantle checks and balances across the federal government, Campaign Legal Center (CLC) has been busy holding this administration accountable. CLC is fighting back by taking Trump to court (and winning); countering administration attempts to dismantle the rule of law; and calling on lawmakers to advance laws that protect the public interest.

The first 100 days are over, but Campaign Legal Center’s job is just beginning. We will continue to push back against any and every unlawful action taken by this administration in the next four years — because the president is not a king, and he is not above the law.
