May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a pivotal time to address the significant increase in mental health challenges for K-12 students over the past several years and Elevate the Role of School Nurses in School-Based Mental and Behavioral Health.


Let's not forget that School Nurse Day is next Wednesday, May 7! The challenges students face today—from chronic illnesses to mental health struggles—demand comprehensive, accessible care, which school nurses uniquely provide. #SND2025 is a prime opportunity to highlight What School Nurses Do.
