BIG SKY REPORT:
 An Update from Senator Daines
 Fellow American,
I hope this message finds you well. As your Senator, I'm dedicated to
representing Montana's values and delivering results that matter to you. April
was a very busy month, and I want to share with you some of the key initiatives
I've been working on to keep Montana and our nation strong.
I hope you enjoy this first edition of the Big Sky Report.
Policy Achievements: Advancing Montana’s Priorities
Saving Montana’s Coal Jobs
On April 9th, my bill to keep the Bull Mountains Mine near Roundup, Montana
open passed the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee with bipartisan
support. This mine is the lifeblood of Musselshell County, supporting over 250
jobs and powering America with reliable, Made-in-Montana energy. I also thanked
President Trump for his leadership in signing executive orders to boost our
coal industry, ensuring our workers and communities thrive.

Supporting Our Farmers and Ranchers
I met with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer to push for expanded
market access for Montana’s agricultural producers. Our farmers and ranchers
feed the world, and I’m working to secure fair trade deals that protect their
livelihoods and keep our rural economy strong.
Backing America First Policies
On April 5th, I proudly supported the Senate budget resolution, paving the
way for President Trump’s agenda to secure our borders, cut wasteful spending,
and reduce taxes. This is a critical step to putting Montana families and
businesses first.
Community Engagement: Listening to Montanans
Inspiring the Next Generation
I consider it a great duty and privilege to educate and inspire our nation's
future leaders. On April 2nd, I visited with students from St. Ignatius and
Centreville High Schools, discussing their dreams and Montana’s future. On
April 9th, I welcomed Sidney High School students to a Senate Energy Committee
meeting, where they saw firsthand how we’re fighting for our state’s energy
jobs. Meeting with Students from Sidney High School
Saluting Montana’s Spirit
On April 6th, I joined Montanans in celebrating 406 Day, honoring the grit
and pride of our state. From our wide-open spaces to our tight-knit
communities, Montana is the greatest state in the nation, and I’m reminded of
that every day.
Celebrating a Victory for Montana's Small Businesses
On April 25th, I was proud to join local community and business leaders at
the opening of Amazon's newest facility in Belgrade, Montana. This new facility
means new jobs and improved service for Montana's small businesses!

A Huge Endorsement from President Trump
On April 21st, President Trump officially announced his endorsement of my
re-election campaign for Montana's MUST-WIN Senate seat. His support
underscores how important this seat is to maintaining our Republican Senate
Majority.Click here to read his full endorsement and join the fight to keep
this seat in Republican hands.

Looking Ahead
Your support makes all of this possible, and I’m committed to keeping
Montana’s voice strong in D.C. As we face new challenges, I’ll continue
fighting for our jobs, our values, and our way of life. If you’re able, please
consider making a contribution to help sustain our efforts. Every dollar helps
us keep America first.
