Dear Friend,

I'm Dr. Vivian Santos, Project HOPE's team lead in Danlí, Honduras. Many of the patients I treat are pregnant women who've escaped their home countries seeking safety and a better life. Some have traveled for weeks on foot, facing health issues such as dermatitis, body injuries, and maternal health challenges.

Every day, my team and I work to give mothers lifesaving care and the best chance to deliver their babies safely. But recent cuts to U.S. humanitarian aid have put displaced women and families at even greater risk and our work is even more essential.

In honor of the brave women my team and I work with and Mother's Day this Sunday in the U.S., I've set a goal to raise $50,000 for Project HOPE by May 11. Please help by making a gift right now. Your gift today can multiply 4x in impact from public and private sources to help us deliver urgent relief with lasting impact.

Will you help me reach my $50,000 goal by Mother's Day?

Project HOPE's maternal, child, and neonatal health programs have saved lives since 1985. But there's still so much need here in Honduras, Central America, and other countries in crisis like Ukraine and Lebanon.

Bombs destroy clinics where women get prenatal care. Hospitals can't run neonatal intensive care units without electricity. Military occupation threatens the lives of health workers, including midwives and OB/GYNs.

In the face of such devasting circumstances, I'm in awe of how mothers in the U.S. and across the globe persevere, determined to keep their children safe and build stronger communities. Join me in standing with them, and together, we can create a more peaceful world.

Will you please make a gift today while every $1 donated can help secure $4 in additional lifesaving support? Your support can help Project HOPE teams and our local partners train midwives, provide emergency and obstetric care, andtreat sick and preterm babies.

Friend, even amid trauma and displacement, access to health care means access to HOPE. It means that the world hasn't forgotten people despite fading headlines. I see the power of HOPE every day here in Honduras, and I know your gift can make a lifesaving difference to support mothers and families just like the ones I care for. Please be as generous as you can when you make your gift.

Thank you,

Dr. Viviana Santos
