It’s hard to believe it’s only been 100 days since Donald Trump returned to the White House. Honestly, it's felt more like 100 years. Donald Trump has made it clear that he sees no limits to presidential power. Each day seems to bring a new example of him testing how far he can take his authority without consequence.

I want you to know I’m ready to meet him at every turn.

Before I came to Congress, I was a civil rights attorney. I’ve spent my career standing up for people and for the rule of law, and I’m proud to continue that fight in the House. Earlier this month, I joined the House Democrats’ Rapid Response Task Force and the Litigation Working Group, where we're coordinating legal strategies to push back against this administration’s lawlessness.

We’ve already filed several amicus briefs in key court cases challenging Trump’s executive overreach, and we’re just getting started.
