Friend,

Members of the LGBTQ+ community deserve the same rights and equality under the law as all other Americans. It’s that simple.

This month is Pride Month. While we won’t be attending parades and celebrating together in person this year, it’s as important as ever that we recognize the progress that has been made for LGBTQ+ Americans, and the work that we still have to do to combat the discrimination that still exists in housing, the workplace, and public accommodations.

My state, Pennsylvania, is one of those that still does not provide full equality for the LGBTQ+ community, and that's one of the reasons that I think it's so important that we enact federal legislation to make sure that equal is equal, and love is love.

I’m proud to be endorsed by the Human Rights Campaign, and last year, I was proud to help pass the Equality Act, which would ban discrimination based on sexual or gender orientation. This much-needed legislation is sitting untouched in Mitch McConnell’s “legislative graveyard” of bills he refuses to even bring to a vote in the Senate.

This Pride Month, will you add your name to call on Mitch McConnell and the Senate to pass the Equality Act?

Thank you for taking action,
Susan

Susan Wild is running for Congress because she believes we can grow overall economic prosperity while still caring for the vulnerable members of our community. And she knows, now more than ever, it's working-class families that deserve a break in this economy — not big city billionaires and wealthy corporations.

But she needs your support today -- her campaign runs on grassroots donations since she's not taking a dime of corporate PAC money. If you can, consider giving anything you can to her campaign today. >>
