JohnAs we mark the first 100 days of the Trump Administration, one thing is very clear: Americans are fed up.

I’ve heard it over and over from thousands of constituents at town halls across the district. All Trump has done is threaten our international alliances, weaken our economy with a reckless trade war, and allow Elon Musk free rein to destroy public services – meanwhile, families everywhere are still struggling to make ends meet.

But, many constituents also made it clear that they felt Democrats in Congress weren’t doing enough. My job as your representative is to take your concerns seriously, and actively work to deliver solutions – and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

John, in a moment I’m going to ask you for a donation to help me continue standing up to the Trump Administration’s chaos. [[link removed]] But first, I want to give you an update on this work both in and outside of Congress:

1. We hired a Political Director for the campaign! Mikayla hit the ground running to help us organize both locally and in our adopted swing district, Arizona’s 6th District. The road to Election Day 2026 has already begun, and we’re working to prove that our grassroots team has what it takes to win again, from WA-06 to AZ-06 and beyond.


2. I joined the Washington State Democrats at a People’s Town Hall in Eastern Washington’s 5th District , which voted for Trump by a wide margin. Over 200 people turned out to listen and share stories about how the Trump-Musk agenda is affecting their lives. While Republicans refuse to listen to their constituents, my fellow Democrats and I are stepping up to be the listening ear these folks deserve, and make sure they hear from someone who takes their concerns seriously about threats to Medicaid, Social Security, and our civil liberties.


3. My fellow Democrats and I on the Oversight Committee launched an investigation into Elon Musk’s conflicts of interest across the U.S. government. I’m not standing by while an unelected billionaire takes a sledgehammer to the federal government while using his influence to further line his pockets. The American people deserve transparency about where their tax dollars go, and that’s what I’m working to uncover.



None of this would have been possible without you. During the 2024 campaign, I bet on our powerhouse team of grassroots donors again and again — and you ALWAYS delivered.
