Friend,
We are at the end of the first 100 days of the Trump fascist regime. In
these first 100 days they have made huge leaps in destroying any checks
on Trump’s power. They are moving at breakneck speed to consolidate
their rule. They are escalating their terror against immigrants and
student protesters, even kidnapping them off the streets and
disappearing them. They are waging war on universities in order to
thoroughly NAZI-fy higher education. With this as their foundation,
imagine what they can achieve in the next 100 days - toward their
nightmare vision of a fascist America.
Yet that is not the only
story. People are beginning to stir. Institutions are beginning to stand
up. Different sections of society are raising their voices - in town
halls, on the airwaves, and in the streets. The photo of the Refuse
Fascism banner in front of the White House boldly stating Trump Must Go
Now! reached millions through media coverage. Now is the time for
millions to rise up as one and demand: The Trump Fascist Regime Must Go
Now!
In the first 100 days, the world as we know it has been torn asunder. Imagine what this regime will do in the next 100 if the people in our millions do act to stop them.

Join us in the streets around the country on Thursday May 1 raising the single unifying demand: Trump Must Go NOW!

Episode 246 dropped April 27:
The fascist Trump regime has universities in their sights and are moving against students and the institutions themselves.
Host Sam Goldman speaks with Emily
Van Duyne, one of the authors of the open letter issued by academics at
Stockton University on April 2, “Silence is Collaboration: Academics Must Speak Out Against Fascism” which reads in part, “there
is no appeasing an openly fascist Trump administration, for we know
that no one is safe under fascism. When we keep our heads down and stay
the course, the fascists continue to lie, extort like the mobsters they
are, and humiliate and attack whoever they add to their list of enemies.”
Then, Sam talks with Heather Squire, who recently announced she’s
leaving her doctoral program at the University of Buffalo, issuing an
open letter challenging the complicity of her institution in this time
of crisis.
