John, the first 100 days of any presidency are hugely important.
- Franklin Delano Roosevelt took fast action to pass the New Deal and undo the damage of the Great Depression.
- Lyndon Johnson swiftly pushed through the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to make progress toward racial justice.
- And Barack Obama took a nation on the brink of a total financial meltdown and boosted the economy.
These three presidents took bold and decisive actions for the betterment of this country. Yet, Donald Trump seems hellbent on destroying all that we hold dear – our economy, our standing in the world, and our democracy.
