Donald Trump has now been in office for 100 days, and a majority of Americans oppose his policies and do not approve of how he’s handling his job as our President.

A number of different groups and media outlets have polled Americans, and every poll reflects very low approval ratings for Trump. CNN, for example, recently released a poll which found that at 41%, Donald Trump has the lowest approval rating for a president's first 100 days in office going back decades — no one since President Eisenhower in the 1950s has ranked this poorly. A majority of Americans do not like the chaos Trump has created and there’s a long list of reasons why. 

He’s allowed Elon Musk to decimate federal agencies and fire tens of thousands of workers. He’s trampled all over due process. He’s broken his promise to Americans to eliminate inflation and lower the cost of living on "day one.” His tariff policies have caused enormous economic uncertainty, rattling the markets, causing the loss of trillions of dollars in retirement funds for Americans and creating a likely recession. He’s ignored the Supreme Court — and there’s so much more destruction that has terrified Americans — and all in just over three months.

We can stop this destruction of our economy, of our standing in the world, of everything our parents, our grandparents and generations of Americans built.

But we need four Republicans to stand with us — with you.

Democrats will continue to fight for an economy, a government and a country that we all deserve.
