Dear John,
When asked about the Playworks Junior Coach program, a first grade teacher shared “I believe seeing older students take on leadership roles has allowed my students to see their future selves in those same leadership roles. It has helped develop friendships and supported community development at large.”
With the Junior Coach Leadership Program, students build stronger individual relationships through play which helps build community overall. When everyone in a school plays together, the entire school community thrives.
“The youth leaders in my class understand how and actually step in to support other students who are in need. They are becoming excellent at problem solving for themselves and collaboratively to help others,” said another classroom teacher.
For our shared future, every kid needs to play every day. When youth leaders support that play, schools become stronger, happier communities. You, John, have an important role in making this type of play possible.
When you donate to Playworks, you are investing in children. Help make the most of childhood, your gift helps us create schools where kids gain valuable skills that will guide them throughout their lives.
