Friend, I want to be completely honest with you: It’s been 100 days since Donald Trump took office for a second time — and since then, our fundraising has taken a sharp downward turn.

We’re receiving fewer individual donations than we had planned for, and it’s created a serious gap between the life-saving work we need to do and what we can afford. That's why we're asking you to make a gift before midnight to have your gift DOUBLED. So please: Will you rush a 2X-matched gift of $36 (our average donation amount) or more now to help us bridge the gap and continue the fight against gun violence?

Some of the reasons why our numbers have slowed down are very understandable. But for those who care deeply about gun safety in America, I have to say: Your support is urgently needed. Because the work must go on.

In just 100 days, Trump has already made it clear he’ll put the gun lobby ahead of our kids’ lives at every turn, taking alarming steps to undo progress on gun violence prevention:

* He reversed President Biden's efforts on enhanced background checks.
* He appointed long-time opponent of gun safety laws, Pam Bondi, to oversee “Second Amendment priorities” in his administration, plus she created a Second Amendment Task Force.
* He refused to take action after the FSU shooting and told reporters "the gun doesn’t do the shooting."

Every donation powers our fight against radical lawmakers who are determined to drag us backward — and every dollar helps us push back on Trump’s deadly vision for America. But we’ve fought a dangerous Trump administration before — and we’ve won — and that’s why I’m asking for your help in continuing this critically important fight.

Every donation powers our fight against radical lawmakers who are determined to drag us backward — and every dollar helps us push back on Trump’s deadly vision for America. So please, rush a life-saving gift today and DOUBLE your impact to help us close this fundraising gap and keep fighting for a safer country.
