Dear John,
The President has made it a priority to take this country backwards on civil rights, including continued harassment and discrimination against LGBTQ+ youth. We've heard from youth activists: it's a scary time to be young and queer. But Congress has the tools to offset some of the harm the Administration is so committed to causing.
Millions of LGBTQ+ people, women, people of color, and people of all faiths are still not fully protected from discrimination under federal law. The Equality Act
would change that.
It would update the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to guarantee that no one can be denied housing, education, employment, health care, or access to public spaces simply because of who they are.
LGBTQ+ youth need us to stand with them now and tell Congress we need this bill to pass.
Send a letter today and urge your legislators to pass the Equality Act!
👉 Take action now:
Every voice matters. Together, we can ensure that equality is not just an ideal, but a reality for all.
Thank you for taking action,
In solidarity,
Mo Shora
