Is there anything you’ve been doing consistently since you were three years old?
For Special Olympics athlete Emilee W., that’s bowling! She rolled her very first bowling ball at age three and has been playing, competing in, and even coaching the sport she—and her whole family—loves ever since.
In the three decades that Emilee has taken to the lanes, she has won gold medals in statewide Special Olympics bowling tournaments, competed in the USA Games, achieved a 300 game (!!), and become a stellar bowling coach for kids. Her reason for being so involved in Special Olympics bowling? Because she loves it.
Will you make a donation today so more athletes with intellectual disabilities (ID) like Emilee can find their passion for sports? For every person with ID who Special Olympics has helped, there are 133 more still waiting to get in the game, make friends just like them, and follow their hearts.
We’re getting close to reaching our 365 donor goal by tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline. We picked “365” because every day of the year Special Olympics is changing lives. Every day, an athlete is finding a second home with Special Olympics, a safe and fun place for athletes to play simply for the love of the game.
Will you be one of the 365 donors we need this month? If you can, please donate before tomorrow’s MIDNIGHT deadline!
We can’t thank you enough,
