May Day Strong!
National Day of Action
This May Day, we are joining together with a coalition of grassroots Kentucky Activists ([link removed]) to put working people over billionaires and reject the corruption, lawlessness, and predatory politics of the Trump-Musk administration.
When: Thursday, May 1st, 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Where: Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza (120 N. Limestone, Lexington, KY)
Schedule:
* 4:00 - 4:30 - Gathering time: poster making, visiting organization tables, etc.
* 4:30 - 5:30
+ Band music
+ Union speakers from the Bluegrass Local Labor Council, SMART Local 110 Sheet Metal Workers, United Campus Workers, and more!
+ Chanting and more music!
* 5:30 - 6:15 - March (a map will be posted here ([link removed]) when it is approved)
* 6:15 - 7:00 - After the march, attendees will have an opportunity to sign up to speak in an open mic. Sidewalk protesting will happen during this time as well.
