International Workers Day:
May Day Rally & March
This Thursday, May 1, 12- 5pm
Cal Anderson Park
In his first 100 days Trump, Musk, and the Billionaire Class have unleashed a full frontal assault on the working class, immigrants, oppressed people, the environment, and our democratic rights. Internationally, Musk and the Trump administration are supporting far right-wing, anti-immigrant political parties and have backed to the hilt the war of annihilation in Gaza.
Join us this May 1 for International Workers’ Day to stand against Trump and the Billionaire class in international solidarity with immigrants and workers across the globe. We will be meeting at noon at Cal Anderson Park in Capitol Hill. Bring your friends, family, and voice to loudly demand our siblings are treated with dignity and respect. RSVP at SeattleMayDay.org. An injury to one is an injury to all!

CALLING ALL CANVASSERS! We have one weekend left to collect signatures to get Mike Westgaard on the ballot for Renton City Council! Join us at a Mega Canvass on Sunday, May 4th at 11am at Earlington Park to knock on doors, tell voters about the campaign, and get final signatures!
Mike is running as a democratic socialist in a grassroots campaign against a Chamber of Commerce backed establishment incumbent. In our first month of running the Mike for Renton campaign, we’ve knocked on over 2,500 doors, collected nearly 300 signatures, and raised over $10,000. We also found over 20 supporters willing to put up yard signs or volunteer with the campaign! We’re off to a tremendous start - make sure the campaign finishes this phase strong by coming to the Mega Canvass!
First time canvassers are welcome. We will provide training before the canvass and will organize carpools, please note your carpool needs in the Action Network RSVP form. Social to follow. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately!
