On Friday, I was honored to speak at our People’s Town Hall in Spokane. The energy was electric – we had over 200 people show up to listen and share stories about how the Trump-Musk agenda is affecting their lives.

We held the town hall in Washington’s 5th District, which voted for Trump by a wide margin.

But this event wasn’t about party or politics. It was about people.

Naida Spencer, a U.S. Navy veteran, spoke about cuts to the VA and DOGE firing thousands of veterans from federal jobs.

Jenny Slagle, a Spokane School Board Member, described what the elimination of the Department of Education would mean for kids in local schools.

Everyone in the room was angry about the destructive Trump agenda – and they aren’t going to sit by while a handful of billionaires and politicians dismantle everything we hold dear.

Together, we need to harness this energy to keep pressure on Congressional Republicans, whether they are in swing districts like Arizona’s 6th or deep-red areas like Washington’s 5th!
