April was a big month for our democracy—and for this campaign. Let’s recap what we’re up against:
🔹 Minnesota led the nation in youth voter turnout and ranked #2 overall. That’s something to be proud of—and something we must protect.
🔹 President Trump is targeting truth-tellers. He ordered a criminal investigation into Chris Krebs, the former DHS official who said the 2020 election was secure.
🔹 The U.S. House passed the SAVE Act, a bill that could block millions of eligible Americans from voting by forcing people to show proof of citizenship just to register.
Each of these moments reminds us why our work matters—and why we must keep standing up for our democracy.
But here’s the challenge: we’re still $5,000 short of hitting our April fundraising goal. And we need to close that gap before the end of the month to stay on track for 2025.
