Plus: Kamala is backHi John,

I've just published a new blog post:
[link removed] Major Steps Forward [link removed]

This is the week. The House will be voting on my Congressional Review Act Resolution to overturn Gavin Newsom’s ban on gas-powered cars. You can watch my Floor Speech introducing the Resolution here [link removed]. This is a major step in our plan to Newsom-Proof California.

Another step forward: the FBI has acknowledged receiving my request for an investigation [link removed] of CA High-Speed Rail. The information in my letter has been provided to the relevant FBI division for "appropriate action." We could finally get answers as to where all the money went.

Back home, Bernie/AOC’s manic “anti-Kiley” rally [link removed] had a meager encore. Eric Swalwell – who was removed from House Intelligence for consorting with a Chinese spy – came to town and likened me to Kevin from Home Alone. Not sure how I’ll ever recover from that stinging barb.

In DC, as Chair of the K-12 Education Subcommittee, I’m working to make 2025 the Year of School Choice. Two bills I’m sponsoring, the Educational Choice for Children Act and the High-Quality Charter Schools Act, could soon become law and expand options for millions of families.

And our fight for sanity at universities has also seen amazing progress. However, last week pro-terrorist "protesters" at Yale physically took over a campus plaza. I went on national TV [link removed] to call for the immediate expulsion of the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, the California Supermajority just passed legislation [link removed] to release murderers and rapists early. This comes after voters overwhelmingly passed our initiative, Prop. 36, to make crime illegal again. The radical politicians of our state have learned absolutely nothing.

Finally, Kamala Harris is giving her first post-election speech this Wednesday. Fittingly, it will be in San Francisco. The backdrop of crime, homelessness, waste, and abandoned buildings will remind Americans what they're missing out on.

Help me Newsom (and Kamala) Proof California [link removed]
