There’s one thing that all Special Olympics athletes have in common:
They love sports. No matter how old they are, where they’re from, or what their abilities are, these amazing athletes find the courage to compete because they enjoy being on teams, having fun, and pushing themselves to become champions. They play, train, and compete for the love of the game. ❤️
For the next three days, we hope to inspire 365 supporters to step up with a donation so more people with intellectual disabilities (ID) can discover their love of the game. Are you in?
Dondre is a multi-sport athlete who brings his WHOLE heart to soccer, basketball, and softball, and he makes sure that ALL of his Special Olympics teammates are included and empowered. He truly embodies “the love of the game.”
“I bring everyone together. I talk to everyone and make them happy!” Dondre says of his Special Olympics experience. We’re so proud of athletes like Dondre who lift our spirits, train and compete their hearts out, and infuse so much joy into the Special Olympics movement.
There are still far too many people with ID who haven’t gotten the same chance as Dondre to excel on the playing field. That’s why we’re aiming to recruit at least 365 donors by Wednesday’s end-of-month deadline. Help change the life of an athlete with ID today with your donation →
Thank you for all you do to support inclusive sports in your state and across the country and world,
❤️ Team Special Olympics ❤️
