It’s Bob
Ferguson with a big update.
When the Washington State Legislature is in session, state elected
officials, like me, are unable to ask for or accept any donations. That
means if you sent a check during the last five months — we sent it back!
No exceptions.
Yesterday, the legislature adjourned. We accomplished a lot in just a few
months: prepared for the Trump Administration’s chaotic cuts by protecting
our Rainy Day reserve fund, increased investments in K-12 education, and
made the largest investment in state history in the Housing Trust Fund to
build more affordable housing.
Now that the legislature is adjourned, the fundraising freeze is over and
we’re able to receive donations to power our work again.
Unlike most politicians, I don’t accept a dime from large corporations or
corporate PACs. Instead, I rely on this grassroots team. Our grassroots
campaign for Governor was successful because I received an unprecedented
120,000 individual donations.
Building a grassroots team of that size takes time. That’s why I’m
reaching out today with a special request. [ [link removed] ]Will you be one of the first
1,000 donors to my re-election campaign?

I’m proud of the progress we’ve made for Washingtonians. We’re hard at
work delivering for the people, but we have to catch up quickly.
That’s why I’m asking you: [ [link removed] ]Please, chip in $5, $25, $50, or whatever
you can to help kickstart our momentum today.
Thank you so much,
Bob
