Hi, Elon Musk is gutting public services and undermining our democracy while reaping billions in federal funding for his own companies. Musk’s companies have already received some $38 billion in federal government money — but that’s still not enough for Elon. Starlink is now getting a chunk of a $42.5 billion government program to provide rural broadband, and is also receiving FAA money, after DOGE helped hobble the air safety agency. SpaceX’s tens of billions in government contracts are slated to get a boost with the help of NASA and the Defense Department.1 This is blatant corruption. But a new bill, S. 1365, would finally ban billionaire insiders like Musk from pocketing public funds.2 Sign the petition: Musk should not be earning billions from the federal government! Under this new anti-corruption bill, if a high ranking federal employee owns a significant share of a company, that company would be banned from receiving payment or contracts from the federal government. That means billionaires like Musk would be barred from exploiting their government roles for personal profit. It’s basic ethics, and this kind of law already exists for members of Congress. Without this bill, Musk will continue sabotaging public services while bringing in billions more for SpaceX, Starlink, and Tesla. The American people demand an end to this corruption. Sign the petition: Stop billionaire insiders from looting our government! Thanks for taking action, Sources:
