Team — Democratic lawmakers in West Virginia are raising the alarm:
Senate Bill 474 , which would end diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the state, was illegally passed earlier this month by way of a “ series of procedural irregularities ," and now it rests on the Governor’s desk.
If this regressive bill is not vetoed, West Virginia communities would feel the effects. Passing it would be a disservice to the diverse population that calls the Mountain State home and a major breach in legislative procedure.
Groundwork Project PAC supports organizers on the ground who help elect champions of legislation that empowers people from all backgrounds.
As we continue to incur the damage of hyperpartisan, bigoted policies across the Plains and Appalachia, our work has never been more important. If you can, please chip in $3 before our April fundraising deadline. [[link removed]]
