Donald Trump is not trying to govern. He is trying to consolidate power, crush dissent, and destroy the foundation of our democracy.

This is a five-alarm fire, and I’m doing everything in my power to put it out. I am speaking out, marching in the streets, and fighting back by holding rallies and using my position on committees to hold Trump and his administration accountable to stop the Trump agenda.

I’m doing everything I can to stop Trump and Musk’s efforts to dismantle our democracy, strip away our rights, and put billionaires and corporations ahead of the American people – but I need you by my side. Will you chip in $10 or any amount to help us reach our monthly budget goal before Wednesday at midnight? We need to prove we aren’t backing down and that our momentum is only growing.

Since its founding the United States has been a country of laws that obeys court rulings and adheres to the rule of law. No one is above the law, not even the President.

Yet Trump continues to go against judicial orders and target anyone who opposes him – now even including the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue (a clearly partisan move if we’ve ever seen one!).

Trump is defying court orders about immigration and even allowing deportations of legal residents. Republicans are feeling the heat as they remain complicit in the President’s violation of our government’s checks and balances and allowing an unelected billionaire to take over our federal government. But they will do anything to please Trump and Musk, even if it means going against the foundation of our nation and its values.

This is the most incompetent and dangerous White House in American history, but I will not back down. In addition to fighting back in Congress, I’m working closely with legal advocates, civil rights organizations, and public interest groups – but I need you with me in this fight.
