A couple of weeks ago, Lizzie reminded us that everyone on this team has a role to play in standing up to the Trump administration’s far-right extremism that’s hurting everyday Americans and putting vulnerable communities at risk.
A lot of that fight is playing out in the courts—and it’s going to stay that way. Lawyers and advocates have already filed hundreds of cases challenging the Trump administration’s cruel, unconstitutional actions. And there are more to come.
This isn’t a short-term battle. It’s going to take years, grit, and a whole lot of people working together to defend the Constitution and protect our communities in Texas and around the country.
Lizzie’s all in—she’s bringing her courtroom experience to Congress as part of the House Democrats’ Rapid Response and Litigation Task Force, teaming up with other members to use every tool available and take on these legal fights head-on.
