Earlier this month, Marcy stood up for voting rights by voting against the SAVE Act, a GOP bill that has the potential to disenfranchise tens of millions of legal voters.
Under this disastrous legislation, online and by-mail voter registration would be impossible, and many married women whose names have changed would lose the right to vote unless they could provide original copies of their birth certificates and marriage paperwork.
This bill would gut our constitutional right to vote. Voting by non-citizens is already a federal crime, and the data shows it almost never occurs.
But that hasn't stopped GOP dark-money groups from coming after Marcy. They're already running new attack ads with lies and smears about Marcy's voting record.
