I had the pleasure of touring Basic American Medical Products, the nation’s leading producer of in-home and nursing home medical beds. Based in Fond du Lac since 1940, they’ve built a reputation for delivering high-quality products and top-notch customer service.
Their 400,000-square-foot plant manufactures U.S.-made medical beds, stretchers, and procedure chairs that improve the lives of patients and healthcare providers across the country. It was an honor to see this impressive operation first-hand and meet with their hardworking team to discuss how I can further my work in Congress to support manufacturing in the Sixth District.
Wisconsin’s Sixth District leads the nation in manufacturing, and it is a privilege to serve the many hardworking men and women who work in this vital sector. I’ll continue to push forward initiatives to ensure manufacturing remains strong, competitive, and sustainable for generations to come.
