SFTR is so grateful to have built a community of riders who support our mission of advocating for a public transit system from which all San Francisco residents can benefit. This Membership Month, we've loved the opportunity to connect deeper with our current members and grow our community of riders. We've also been able to discuss your wants and needs for our transit system and use that knowledge to fuel future advocacy efforts. Thank you all for making this Membership Month so special!
For our final Membership Month event, join us in a community happy hour! Connect with SFTR staff and other SFTR members, like you! We'll also be reporting our staff takeaways from our General Membership Meeting, hosted earlier this month. The first round of drinks is on us! Let's celebrate! Event Details:
Tuesday, April 29 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Barebottle Beer Garden at Salesforce Park (Salesforce Park 4th Level, 425 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94105) |

Calling all Excelsior residents! |
SFTR is working in collaboration with the Bay Area Air District to identify transit needs directly from community members and groups within San Francisco neighborhoods. Once needs have been identified, we aim to amplify community voices to improve public transportation and help shift transportation priorities.
Our current work focuses on the Excelsior District of San Francisco. If you or someone you know is an Excelsior resident, please encourage them to take the survey below. All completed submissions are entered into a raffle to win a $250 - $500 Visa gift card OR exclusive SFTR merch!

Sign our new letter to tell leaders: Fund public transit! |
SFMTA has already announced several cuts which will be implemented this summer, and even more service cuts (of up to 30% of Muni service) may come next year if the funding deficit isn't addressed. The City must quickly find a solution to SFMTA’s deficit that does not cut service or hurt San Franciscans. Join us in urging our leaders to do what they can to fully fund Muni.
Because it takes a lot to deliver the world-class transit service we need, the Muni Now Muni Forever campaign is aiming focus on multiple targets: the CA State Legislature, the SFMTA Board, and Mayor Daniel Lurie.
