.Last Saturday, my office presented the awards for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Every year, the House of Representatives holds a nationwide contest among high school students. The contest, “An Artistic Discovery,” seeks to recognize artistic talent throughout the United States in each congressional district.
Congratulations to Melian Miller of Wichita High School East for her winning piece, “My Hero.” Her artwork will be on display in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., for one year. Photos of all winning pieces will be online at estes.house.gov/art this week.
