A new Rutgers-Eagleton poll of our race is out — the first independent head-to-head poll of the primary election for Governor since January.

It shows that we continue to lead — but that over one-third of voters are still undecided.

The math is clear. Winning over those undecided voters is key to winning this race.

And with voters already casting their ballots, we’re running out of time to reach them.

Time is of the essence — because once Donald Trump weighs in on this race, everything will change. GOP megadonors will flood New Jersey with cash, and they’ll fund attack ads targeting me.

They’ll do it because they know that I’m the best candidate to win this race in November and prevent a Trump yes-man from taking office.

They’ll do it because this race is the next big one on the calendar in 2025 — and the result will set the tone for the midterm elections next year.

And they’ll do it because they know that overcoming our grassroots momentum is the only way a Republican will succeed.
