HUGE NY-21 WIN: Chobani Announces $1.2B Investment in Rome, NY

On Tuesday, Elise joined local leaders to celebrate a major victory for Upstate New York — the groundbreaking of Chobani’s cutting-edge dairy processing facility at Rome’s Griffiss Business & Technology Park. With a $1.2 billion investment, this project will create over 1,000 good-paying jobs and deliver a significant boost to local dairy farmers and the Mohawk Valley economy.

Elise stated –

“This is great news for our Upstate and North Country farmers and families. We’re proud to welcome Chobani to NY-21 — and even prouder of the hardworking people who made this possible.”

Elise Honored with Inaugural "America First" Award

Last week, Elise was proud to receive the inaugural 'America First' award, presented by New York GOP Chairman Ed Cox — a recognition of her bold leadership, steadfast partnership with President Trump, and tireless fight for our conservative values in Congress.

In her remarks, Elise took aim at Governor Hochul and Albany’s Far Left Democrats, calling out their corrupt, failed policies — from crushing small businesses with burdensome regulations to pushing outrageous efforts to disenfranchise voters in special elections.

In a post on X, Elise stated –

“Under the Worst Governor in America, New York is falling apart — families are fleeing, crime is rising, and antisemitism is spreading.

It’s time to FIRE Kathy Hochul and SAVE NEW YORK!”

UPDATE: Elise Requests U.S. Education Department Investigation into Saratoga Springs City School District

This week, Elise continued to speak out against the Saratoga Springs City School District’s defiance of President Trump’s executive order, Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports, which is aimed at protecting girls and women in both locker rooms and athletic competition. Last week, we highlighted Elise’s efforts to call out the SSCSD for recently passing a policy that permits biological males to participate in girls’ sports and use girls’ locker rooms.

Elise’s letter to Education Secretary Linda McMahon stated —

“On March 27, 2025, the SSCSD Board of Education in Saratoga Springs, New York, passed a resolution titled “Affirming Our Support for Every Student.” In the resolution, the SSCSD Board of Education states, “We will ensure their right to use facilities and participate in activities and sports consistent with their gender identity.” Allowing biological males into girls’ sports and locker rooms is in direct violation of President Trump’s executive order. Our daughters should not be forced to compete against biological men in competitive sports or share a locker room with biological men.

…

Under Title IX and articulated in President Trump’s Executive Order 14201, educational institutions that receive federal funding must be in compliance with Title IX’s requirements to protect opportunities for women and girls to compete in safe and fair sports. I join President Trump in his commitment to protect our nation’s girls and daughters. This Far Left woke ideology has no place in our communities.”

Elise Leads Charge to Hold Cuomo Accountable for Deadly Nursing Home Scandal

Elise continued her fight for justice for New York’s seniors and their families by standing alongside House Oversight Chairman James Comer to re-submit a criminal referral to the DOJ against disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo. From the beginning, Elise has led the charge for accountability — exposing Cuomo’s deadly nursing home mandate and the disturbing cover-up of thousands of COVID deaths. Evidence and witness testimony indicate Cuomo lied to Congress about his involvement in the scandal.

In a post on X, Elise stated –

“I have been leading on delivering accountability on behalf of New Yorkers for years. Thank you to [James Comer] for your partnership and leadership. Disgraced former Governor Cuomo must be held accountable for his criminal cover up and gross mishandling of New York’s COVID-19 nursing home scandal. Nobody is above the law.

Today House Republicans resent a criminal referral to DOJ Attorney General [Pam Bondi] recommending that former Governor Cuomo be charged with making false statements to Congress according to gathered evidence and witness testimony.”

Reintroduction of Invasive Species Bill

Elise reintroduced the bipartisan Stamp Out Invasive Species Act with Rep. Ed Case (D-HI) to help combat and raise awareness of the threat invasive species pose to Upstate New York and North Country ecosystems.

Elise said in a statement –

“Upstate New York and the North Country are home to some of the largest and most diverse ecosystems in New York State, including the Adirondacks, multiple lakes and rivers, and thousands of miles of trails, and I am committed to preserving them for future generations. I am proud to lead this effort in Congress to help raise awareness about the threat these invasive species pose to our natural ecosystems and fund research that will help combat these predators.”
