Meet the seven Democrats who could decide Virginia’s future:
|
💪 Kimberly Pope Adams (HD-82) came within just 53 votes of flipping the seat in 2023 — making it the closest Democratic loss of the cycle. Now, she’s mounting a powerful comeback to finish what she started.
💪 Delegate Nadarius Clark (HD-84) is a community organizer turned lawmaker. He is focused on housing access, economic justice, and a climate-resilient future. He’s pushing back against gentrification and pushing forward bold infrastructure investments.
💪 Delegate Joshua Cole (HD-65) has a track record of standing up for what matters: reproductive freedom, worker protections, and clean energy. He recently introduced legislation to protect the Commonwealth’s federal workers. This is our community’s fourth consecutive election supporting Del. Cole.
💪 Delegate Michael Feggans (HD-97) flipped one of the most competitive districts from red to blue in 2023 with our support — and since then has hit the ground running. He’s an Air Force veteran, a 2024 Climate All-Star (Chesapeake Climate Action Network Fund), and 2024 Legislative Rookie of the Year (Virginia Education Association).
💪 Lily Franklin (HD-41) came up just 183 votes short in 2023 — a razor-thin margin that made it one of the closest races of the cycle. Now, she’s back in 2025, determined to flip the district and deliver for her community.
💪 Elizabeth Guzman (HD-22) immigrated to the United States as a young single mother with only $300 in her pocket and became the first Latina immigrant to serve in the General Assembly. She’s a union member, co-founder of the Virginia Green New Deal coalition, and a three-time Sister District alumna.
💪 Delegate Phil Hernandez (HD-94) has fought for climate justice, to raise teacher pay, lower taxes for families, and expand economic opportunity. In his first term, he sent 15 bills to the Governor’s desk. This is our community’s third time supporting Del. Hernandez.
