[1] Republicans HATE the idea of deep blue D.C. having equal representation, they want to BLOCK statehood at all costs.
[2] BUT Democrats are RALLYING to get D.C. equal representation. They want to make D.C. a state with two Senators and House representation!!!
[3] So we need 25,000 signatures to show WIDESPREAD support for giving D.C. residents equal representation in our federal government.
