Do you remember where Democrats had their first, major statewide victory after Trump was elected in 2016?

Virginia.

And do you know what state everyone’s going to be looking at on Election Day this November?

Virginia. Again.

If we elect Abigail Spanberger as Virginia’s Governor this year it will send a powerful message to Trump, Elon and extreme MAGA Republicans. We’ll show the GOP that America isn’t going to let them get away with gutting Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and the VA. And, honestly, it’ll feel really good.

That win and additional wins downballot in important legislative races are not going to come easy, though. The GOP isn’t just going to give them to us. We’re going to need to fight tooth and nail for every victory. That’s why we sent Abigail a $500,000 donation early this year to help her get the job done.

But now, Republican groups are pushing back. We saw one of the first major investments from the GOP this week. It’s a six-figure campaign against several Democrats in the legislature aimed at taking back control of the Virginia State House.

VoteVets does NOT intend to let them do it.
