Hi John,

You already know it’s a bad idea for the government to ban new gas and diesel cars.

Now polling from Leger shows a majority of Canadians just told the government they do not support banning new gas and diesel vehicles.

Thanks to the support of CTF donors like you, we commissioned a new poll to find out how Canadians feel about the federal plan to ban the sale of new gas and diesel cars by 2035.

The results are in – and they’re decisive:

Among Canadians who have made up their minds, 60 per cent reject the government’s plan.

Taxpayers know that banning new gas and diesel vehicles means higher costs, fewer choices, and billions in new taxpayer-funded spending.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has pledged to cancel the new gas and diesel car ban and Liberal Leader Mark Carney has stayed silent on the issue.

Now is the time to join the taxpayer army that’s sending a clear message: taxpayers can’t afford a ban on new gas and diesel vehicles.

Will you sign the PETITION to stop the 2035 vehicle ban?

We, the undersigned, call on the prime minister not to ban gas and diesel vehicles.
