Praise God for the opportunity IJM had to join the United States Senate Hearing in early April, addressing the urgent issue of Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) in the Philippines. We thank God for the bold advocacy of survivor leader Ruby* and the wisdom shared by IJM Philippines National Director Attorney Samson Inocencio Jr. as they called for justice system reform, stronger local response and accountability from tech platforms. Pray that these efforts will lead to lasting change and greater protection for vulnerable children.

Africa & Europe |
Please pray for unity and collaboration among all agencies and community leaders working within Kenya’s criminal justice system to fight violence against women and children. We pray for continued growth in strong partnerships that will help create a safe, just and compassionate environment for women and children across the country. |
Latin America |
Please pray for Bolivia’s government to be guided in wisdom and discernment as they seek the best path to restore the nation’s economy. Pray for lasting stability and peace, and for strength and unity for our IJM Bolivia team as they serve faithfully in the midst of these challenges. |
South Asia |
Pray for an upcoming workshop to train journalists about human trafficking and victim-sensitive reporting. These local journalists play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable communities. They help shape the public perception of trafficking as a crime and raise awareness. A badly reported story could also re-traumatize survivors, which is why we want to equip them with global best practices and ideas. Pray for strong connections and fruitful news coverage from this training event. |

We give thanks for the life and legacy of Pope Francis, whose bold leadership and compassion deeply shaped the global fight against injustice. From the start of his papacy, he championed the dignity of every person and called human trafficking a “crime against humanity.” Join us in praying for continued courage to pursue justice with the same relentless hope he embodied so well. |
