Dear Jack,

Mississippi is rising. Economic output in our state grew more in the past five years than it did over the previous fifteen.
Mississippi rising….

Over the past five years, our state’s economic output has surged by $41.4 billion, growing from $116.1 billion in 2019 to $157.5 billion in 2024 (Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis data).

This growth didn’t happen by chance. This momentum has been fueled by pro-growth policies such as 2021 labor market deregulation, low-cost energy, and 2022 tax reforms, which began to journey towards income tax elimination.

These victories for pro-growth policies were driven by principled conservative leaders who fought for change against fierce opposition from leftist lawmakers wedded to the status quo. MCPP recently celebrated some of those that have championed pro-growth policies.

But what about your local lawmaker? Are they supporting Mississippi’s pro-growth policies, or are they holding us back?

This tool reveals how your representative voted on key pro-growth policies, their campaign finance contributions, and lets you message them directly.

Any lawmaker that opposed these four pro-growth policies isn’t a conservative in our opinion.
Where did your local lawmaker stand on the four flagship growth policies in our state?
Despite having a massive conservative majority in Mississippi, our state often fails to implement basic conservative policies, such as school choice, because there is a lack of accountability.

Solid conservative bills keep vanishing—“dying in committee”—with no explanation and no record of votes. Lawmakers that don’t want to deliver pro-growth policies have been able to make a few evasive comments on Supertalk and escape any consequences.

With this new tool ordinary people across the state can check up on what their representative actually did – or failed to do.

Any lawmaker that does not like the way we’ve rated them is free to contact us. They can post their remarks, or if they are willing to publicly come out to support policies that they might not actually have voted for, we are willing to change how we’ve rated them!

Have an awesome weekend!
