Hi John,
In recent weeks Israel’s military has carried out new and shocking massacres in Gaza, at the same time as it continues to prevent humanitarian aid reaching millions of Palestinians.
With Donald Trump’s backing, Israel has expanded its attacks, seizing more Palestinian land and maintaining brutal siege conditions on the people living there. The rest of the world cannot stand by as the genocide continues – we must step up and oppose this escalation.
We’re mobilising to demand the UK and other countries put sanctions on Israel to help force an end to the atrocities. But we need your help. We need to raise £8,000 to fund our campaign. Can you help us get there by donating £3 today?
Yes, I'll donate ([link removed])
Israel has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians in Gaza in the last 18 months. Its army has destroyed Gaza's hospitals, water systems and food supplies. At the same time Israel is accelerating settlements and annexation in the West Bank.
We know the UK government has been complicit in these atrocities. While it continues to issue statements of “concern” and calls for a ceasefire, it has failed to put meaningful pressure on the Israeli government. As Israel continues its attacks on Gaza, we believe sanctions are necessary to pressure Netanyahu to change course.

At the moment, the UK's close economic ties with Israel serve to sanitise war crimes. But they could instead be a powerful tool to force change. The world court in the Hague has made clear that all states must act to protect Palestinians from genocide. That’s why we’re calling for targeted sanctions on parts of Israel’s economy involved in violations of international law. We are demanding the UK government:
* Suspends the UK's trade deal with Israel, the very text of which says it is based on respect for human rights – and cancels plans for a new trade deal

* Sanctions companies involved in Israel’s attacks on Gaza and its long-term occupation of Palestinian territory

* Bans all UK trade and investment related to Israel’s illegal settlements
Without sustained public pressure, the UK government will continue to dodge accountability. That’s why we urgently need to mobilise people around the country to demand sanctions, develop hard-hitting media content, and carry out targeted parliamentary lobbying. We need to raise £8,000 to pay for this. Can you donate today to help fund this campaign?

Israel’s genocide in Gaza is rooted in decades of illegal occupation of Palestinian land. The UK’s colonial past laid the ground for the oppression of Palestinian people – and today it is continuing to provide material and diplomatic support for Israel as it commits horrific war crimes. As a movement for justice, we must do everything we can to hold the UK government accountable for its role – and push for it to change course.
Last year, we commissioned legal research on UK arms sales, organised teach-ins for activists across the country, and mobilised tens of thousands to demand an arms embargo. Since then, we've worked to expose the UK’s complicity in the media and brought campaigners together to press political decision-makers for action on trade.

Now, Israel has escalated its attacks and welcomed Donald Trump's plan for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza. Yet the UK government still refuses to take more meaningful action to stop the violence. That’s why we must escalate our campaign urgently and with clear demands like pushing for sanctions.
Your donation today will fund vital campaigning: from lobbying MPs to organising protests, from building public awareness to direct pressure on policymakers. We need to raise £8,000 to take this campaign forward. Can you help by donating today?

We are determined to do all we can to expose UK complicity in the attacks on Gaza and organise to put pressure on Israel’s war economy. We’re grateful for any support you can give to help fund this work.
In solidarity,

P.S. We need to raise £8,000 to help fund the next step of our campaign demanding the UK government take serious action against Israel’s continued onslaught in Gaza. Can you help by donating today? ([link removed])
