Donald Trump just signed an executive order targeting ActBlue, the largest fundraising platform used by Democratic donors across the country.

To be clear: this isn’t about election transparency. This is about the Trump Administration abusing its power to brazenly attack American democracy. Allegations that ActBlue funnels unlawful foreign contributions to campaigns in an attempt to influence elections are completely baseless. ActBlue strictly adheres to the rule of law, whereas the Trump Administration abuses it for political gain.

We know why they’re doing this. They understand the power of the grassroots momentum that we have on our side. They know that the tide is turning against them and that we are ready to win in 2025 and 2026. This attack on ActBlue is a blatant weaponization of federal power by Donald Trump to silence all opposition.

But we won’t be silenced. Donald Trump tried to subvert our elections once before, and failed, because Democrats didn’t back down.
