John, yesterday we set a target of raising $50,000 in the first 48 hours of our $150,000 April fundraising drive.

Why is this fundraising goal so important? We just received this tragic news from South Sudan: At least five children and three adults have died from cholera on their way to seek medical treatment. 

Due to foreign aid cuts, Save the Children health facilities close to their region were forced to shut down completely. On their arduous three-hour walk to a health facility, they endured the blazing sun with no access to water, shade or medicine.  

Another cholera patient, Sarah*, had a note to share:
