Bad news, John:

Donald Trump is attempting to block access to ActBlue — a critical tool used by grassroots organizations like ours to fight for gun safety and support candidates who believe in saving lives.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t just an attack on a fundraising platform. It’s an attack on our ability to organize, speak out, and push back against the gun lobby agenda. It’s dangerous, it’s illegal, and it’s an attack on our very democracy.

Trump and his allies at the federal level have already eliminated data on the gun violence epidemic, ended grants to combat gun violence in communities, and opened the door for more untraceable weapons on our streets by getting rid of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ “zero-tolerance” policy. Now, they’re trying to silence the very people who are holding them accountable.

It’s unconstitutional, it’s undemocratic, and it’s a direct threat to the progress we’ve made together.
