Friend, in this campaign Canadians have a choice between two different leaders.
Mark Carney, who has a comprehensive plan to build Canada Strong and keep our communities safe – or Pierre Poilievre, who repeats the same empty slogans.
When I was the Chief of Police in Toronto, I worked with leaders from all levels of government and across party lines to keep our streets safe. It takes meaningful action to stop crime, and Mark Carney has put forward a plan that will build safe and secure communities.
Pierre Poilievre has done nothing to get guns off of our streets. Instead, he’s promised the gun lobby he’ll bring back assault rifles, and he wants to give us American-style gun laws – Canada is not America.
Pierre Poilievre is the wrong choice at the wrong time.
A Mark Carney-led Liberal government will keep assault-style firearms off our streets, recruit and train 1,000 more RCMP personnel, and make bail laws stricter for violent and organized crime, and more.
These measures will build safer communities, so Canadians can feel safe at home, at work, and where they worship.
We need to build Canada Strong, and we need your help to do it.
With Election Day just three days away, we need all of our supporters to pull together so we can run our crucial get-out-the-vote efforts between now and April 28th.
