Greetings,
Small businesses and Main Streets across the U.S. are in crisis. The current administration’s across-the-board tariffs imposed on "Liberation Day" will spike prices, drive inflation, and bring supply chains to a grinding stop.
Congress cannot continue to wait as this crisis unfolds.
Without swift action, many small businesses will permanently close, and the U.S. will enter a recession.
According to a recent Gallup poll, America's economic pessimism is at an all-time high, even higher than during COVID-19 or the global financial crisis. This is unsustainable. Please contact your Senators to urge them to vote YES on Senate Joint Resolution 49 to end the emergency tariffs and force the President to work with Congress on trade policy.

Under Senate rules, the measure will receive a vote on the Senate floor next week. If enacted, the resolution would terminate the emergency that the administration declared, reverse the 10 percent tax on all imported goods, and end the threat of additional tariffs of up to 49% on products Americans buy from other countries.
In the wake of the administration’s tariff standoff, manufacturers have laid off thousands of workers, and foreign countries have retaliated by slapping their own tariffs on U.S. agricultural and manufactured goods. The stakes for small businesses are too high to do nothing.
