Dear Friend,
We have news to share.
On April 16, the Green Party was unfairly excluded—at the last minute—from the National Leaders’ Debates by the Leaders’ Debates Commission, an organization whose mission is to “serve the public interest and make debates more predictable, reliable, and stable.”
Yesterday, we filed an application for judicial review at the Federal Court to challenge this decision. It was unfair, undemocratic, and unacceptable—and we’re not backing down.
We’ve earned our place. We respected the rules. We even received an official invitation—only to have the Commission change the criteria and exclude us a few days later.
With candidates across Canada, growing support, and bold ideas that Canadians deserve to hear, our voice matters in this election. Silencing Greens silences the millions of people calling for urgent climate action, social justice, and real democratic reform.
So now, we fight.
We’re standing up to ensure that Green voices are heard on the national stage. But we can’t do it without you.
Will you chip in to support our legal challenge and help us get our message out—louder than ever?
DONATE NOW
We are prepared to do whatever it takes to defend democracy and fairness—and it starts with this election. Are you with us?
With determination,
The Green Party of Canada
