Save Your Healthcare - The Backer Tracker

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

House Republicans are focused on saving your healthcare. Our current healthcare system is very fragile due to one party control. Democrats are funding a system, without dollars, that prioritizes illegal immigrants over law-abiding, hardworking Minnesotans. If we don't prioritize our constituents and our law-abiding citizens our healthcare system will go into cardiac arrest.

As an EMT, I know what a real emergency looks like—and right now, our health care system is in critical condition. Prioritizing illegal immigrants over hardworking Minnesotans is putting EMS, hospitals, dental, and pharmacy care at risk. As Chair of Health Finance & Policy, I’m fighting to revive and protect the care all Minnesotans deserve.

On Monday we held a press conference to discuss how Democrats are prioritizing illegal immigrants over law-abiding hardworking citizens. According to the Minnesota Department of Health, 17,396 illegal immigrants are now enrolled in MinnesotaCare, over 2x the original estimate of 7,700. House Republicans are fighting against this as we must prioritize our citizens.
