Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the GOP are stripping the federal government for parts, and American families are paying the price.

There’s no rhyme nor reason to the mass firings of federal workers or the shuttering of entire agencies, and Americans are rightfully worried about their jobs, their retirement plans, and their families’ futures.

John, I often say that sunlight is the best disinfectant. Elon Musk shouldn’t be allowed to reshape government services that have been written into law by Congress—and definitely not without accountability.

But the GOP majority is asleep at the wheel and are letting Musk do whatever he wants. That’s why I’m committed to doing everything in my power to hold Musk and Trump accountable. And that means taking back control of the House.

I refuse to give Elon Musk a free pass to take a chainsaw to the federal government, which could explain why he has explicitly said he wants me out of the House.
