Not only are we locking up fewer people, we’re also lowering crime rates. It’s proof that the solution to crime isn’t just imprisoning people and throwing away the key – it’s making real sustainable investments in communities and their safety. It’s supporting people while still upholding the rule of law. We’re making a real difference here in Philadelphia, and it’s palpable. But listen: There’s so much more to do, and that’s why I’m running for reelection.
