New Podcast Drop: AI, Ads and What’s Next

🎬 Rebecca Pearcey (Bryson Gillette) sits down with Melanie McGhee, Director of Production at Mean Green Media, to talk about how AI is revolutionizing campaign ad production. If you think you’ve seen it all, think again.
 • TV to TikTok: 30-second broadcast spots are taking a back seat to snackable and streaming digital content.
 • AI Takes the Wheel: A powerful North Dakota referendum ad produced entirely with AI — no actors, no crew. Just symbols and story.

Trust in Media is Crashing. What Now?

At AAPC’s NYC Networking night, Global Strategy Group previewed new research:

 • 57% of Gen Z and Millennials trust influencers over elected officials.
 • 72% want clarity over mud slinging.

Meet Sheila Brantley: AAPC Foundation’s New Director

Say hello to Sheila Brantley, our new AAPC Foundation Director. She’s a pro in association management, strategic partnerships, and nonprofit leadership. With nearly two decades under her belt and a master’s in public administration from Syracuse University, she’s built a career around driving impact—especially in the areas of fundraising, governance, and public policy.

But what really sets her apart is her passion for mission-driven work. Sheila’s stepping in at a pivotal time for the AAPC Foundation. As she puts it, “We’re not just raising funds—we’re defending something much bigger: political free speech.”

Through the Foundation, AAPC supports research, education, and the next generation of political professionals. “These investments matter more than ever in today’s digital age,” she said. “We’re working to ensure the democratic process stays strong and accessible for everyone."

So, how can you get involved?
