April is Parkinson's Awareness Month, and this year,
we're proud to share inspiring stories of strength,
determination, and resilience through the Faces of Swagger series.
These stories show us the courage and perseverance of people who live
with Parkinson's every day and remind us that Parkinson's
can affect anyone of any background.
Margaret This story features Margaret Morton, a remarkable woman from
Morton Kelowna, BC, whose journey with Parkinson's is nothing
short of inspiring. Diagnosed in 2017, Margaret initially
felt the weight of her diagnosis, but soon found
strength in her determination to live well.
Margaret's story is one of thriving, not just surviving.
Despite the daily challenges of living with Parkinson's,
Margaret continues to embrace life with enthusiasm and joy. Whether
she's coaching soccer, working on a do-it-yourself project, or
expressing herself through painting and writing, Margaret remains a
beacon of positivity.
We invite you read Margaret's full story, the stories of
others, and to share yours.
