Celebrate the history of the Bluff Schuetzenverein, a German marksmanship and social organization that once made its home on the grounds of the Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites. From the late 19th to early 20th centuries the brewery property hosted dances, concerts, picnics, and shooting competitions, welcoming people from across Texas. This year, site staff and volunteers will honor these traditions with a day of entertainment, community booths, family activities, living history demonstrations, special tours, food and drink, and more.
